What is Regular Cold Coffee?

Regular cold coffee is a classic beverage made by combining instant coffee powder, sugar, hot water, and chilled milk. The coffee mixture is prepared by dissolving instant coffee powder and sugar in hot water, which is then cooled to room temperature. This mixture is blended with chilled milk and ice cubes to create a refreshing and creamy cold coffee. It's a simple yet delightful drink enjoyed for its smooth texture and rich coffee flavour.

Ingredients:

- 2 tsp instant coffee powder

- 2 tbsp sugar

- 2 tbsp hot water

- 1 cup chilled full cream milk

- 1 tbsp milk powder (optional)

- 4 ice cubes

- Chocolate syrup for decoration

How To Make Cafe Style Cold Coffee :

Step 1:Regular Cold Coffee:

*Making the Coffee Mixture:

- let's prepare the coffee mixture. In a cup, add 2 teaspoons of instant coffee powder and 2 tablespoons of sugar (adjust according to taste preferences).

- Now, pour in 2 tablespoons of hot water.

- Mixing coffee and sugar with hot water helps them dissolve properly. Usually, when we directly add coffee or sugar, some of its grains remain undissolved in the milk. So, by making this mixture, it'll be much easier to mix everything well. We need to mix it until the sugar completely dissolves into it. Now that the sugar has fully dissolved.

Step 2:Cooling the Mixture:
Once the sugar is dissolved, allow the mixture to cool down. This step is crucial to prevent the warm mixture from affecting the final temperature of our cold coffee.

Step 3:Blending the Ingredients:
- I'll take a blending jar. Now, I'll add 1 cup of chilled full-fat milk. The milk should be very cold. That's the secret to making cafe-style coffee. Always use chilled milk. Whenever you want to make cold coffee, put the milk in the freezer for about 1 to 2 hours beforehand.

- Now, let's add 1 tbsp milk powder. Adding milk powder will make our coffee creamy. Along with this, let's add the coffee-sugar mixture that we prepared earlier.

-  Now, we'll add 4 ice cubes. Don't add too many ice cubes, or the coffee will become too thin. Now, let's blend it. We need to blend it on high speed for 1 minute.

- After blending, you can see how rich and creamy our coffee has become. This will ensure a smooth and frothy texture.  The result should be a rich and velvety cold coffee base that's ready to be served.

Step 4: Prepare the Glasses:
First, we'll take the glasses and decorate them with chocolate syrup. I'm using Hershey's chocolate syrup, but you can also melt chocolate and use that. Decorating the glasses with chocolate syrup makes them look beautiful. When we serve the cold coffee in these glasses, it will look really nice.I've decorated the glasses with chocolate syrup.

Step 5:Serving the Cold Coffee:
Now, pour the blended cold coffee into the decorated glasses.
After pouring the cold coffee, I'll take out the foam from the jar using a spoon and put it on top of the coffee.

- Now, I'm adding melted vanilla ice cream on top, along with some chocolate syrup.

- Finally, I'll sprinkle some chocolate shavings on top. You can also use cocoa powder or chocolate powder instead.
- Our cafe-style regular cold coffee is ready. Give this recipe a try at home; you'll definitely love it. And don't forget to send us your feedback.
